With this mode, you can use 1-sided or 2-sided originals to make

open-faced two-sided copies in such a way that the finished copies

can be stacked and folded into a booklet format.

NOTES

• This mode is only available in duplex copiers.

• If the number of originals is not a multiple of four, the last page(s) of

the copies will come out blank.

• 2-sided copies cannot be made automatically when paper is being

fed from the multi-bypass tray.

1 If “Right” is selected as the page sequence…

Copying will be performed so that the stacked and folded pages of

the finished copies read from right to left.

2 If “Left” is selected as the page sequence…

Copying will be performed so that the stacked and folded pages of

the finished copies read from left to right.

14. Making booklets, etc. from sheet originals [Booklet mode] (Only available

in duplex copiers)

Press the Book Mode key to light the corresponding

indicator.

Use the M cursor or the N cursor key to select “z Booklet”

and then press the Enter key.

again and then press the Enter key. The “Select original.”

screen will appear.
